Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
